Tasks
- Production of prototype assemblies based on hand-drawn sketches
- Production of cables based on hand-drawn sketches
- Prototype production of electronic assemblies according to drawings, circuit diagrams, and bills of materials
- Prototype production of cables according to drawings, circuit diagrams, and bills of materials
- Implementation of modifications to electronic assemblies based on drawing documentation
- Implementation of modifications to cables based on drawing documentation
- Implementing modifications to devices based on drawing documentation
- Performing customer repairs on special technical assemblies (e.g., demonstrators)
- Creating or reviewing manufacturing documentation to ensure it is suitable for production
- Conducting practical feasibility tests in the areas of cable, electronics, and device manufacturing
- Preparing implementation proposals in the areas of assembly and connection technology, device technology, and test equipment
- Participating in supplier audits and in the evaluation of supplier deliveries with regard to manufacturing quality
- Preparing decision-making documents for the procurement of tools and equipment for the development workshops
Requirements
- Completed training as an electronics technician with further training to become a master craftsman/technician or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience
- Excellent knowledge of metalworking, the operation of machine tools, and assembly and joining techniques
- Good knowledge of SAP ERP and MS Office
- Good knowledge of relevant standards (IPC)
- Good command of English and German
- Strong manual dexterity
- Goal-oriented and independent work style, as well as an open-minded attitude and the ability to work well in a team
